About the School

K.G.B.V, Kangteng Tawang was established in 2009 and it is managed by the Department of Education on PPP mode with NGO Tawang Dist. Youth Welfare Society. It is located 10 Km away from the Tawang Headquarter. It is a residential school and is providing Upper Primary, Secondary (VI-X) level education.

The medium of instruction is English language and the school is affiliated with Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) for secondary level. The school has five classrooms, one library, one laboratory, one computer room, one principal’s room and a playground. The hostel facilities include two hostel blocks, one dining hall, one Kitchen and six staff quarters. Now another girls hostel building of 100 bedded is under construction for class IX to X where 80 percent is completed under the scheme.
